I think the rules need an update, gatekeeping is dumb

Is it gatekeeping or is it protecting?

Kinda reminds me at the gaming industrie where Devs/Companies abuse well known game titles to promote a sequel of it and ruin everything by creating utter woke bs which has barely anything to do with the prequel.

Now why do you wanna use the Term Manga? - To live in a skyscaper instead of building something by yourself.
How do you think it will end up if it would be the norm that western animations would be called like that. - Woke as Gaming did.

And stuff like that can ruin things, look at Ubisoft, look at the company developing concord. All deserved and good consequences, but it took Years to finally have consequences like that.

So better protect Manga right away.
And I do not even read Manga, but I am into the gaming scene since 1999 and it would be fully comparable.

@EcchiOtakuGal I'm not gonna lie your argument doesn't make sense to me, mainly because you keep using the word woke which has lost all meaning. please describe your thoughts without saying woke as it no longer means anything. your comparison also doesn't really make sense. if an American has studied manga and creates manga that if read side by side with a japanese manga would be hard to tell the difference by, would it not be a manga?
