You need to pay attention. He killed the snake by stabbing it in its weak spot with weapons we later find out are rare and pretty high level especially considering it's the start of the game. The wolf boss killed the imp things.

| The animation overall was very impressive again and was great in all aspects, not just the action portion. But the actual content itself got a bit boring admittedly, feels like the shine of the series is already wearing off a bit on me besides just admiring how good it looks. Good to see him having genuine fun with the game at least. I don't know, the first episode was actually solid but this one was a bit boring. I used to enjoy playing games like these a lot but playing it definitely feels a lot different than just watching an anime character through an anime go about it. Hope there's more interesting stuff lurking later on. |
| Okay, so theme of this show is some dude playing a game with VR. Done so many times already but boy does fluid animation, great pacing and good character writing push this above the average mud. Gotta say first two episodes held up pretty well in terms of quality. So far it's been leveling part and at some point we can expect others to come into story and adventuring to start. That's when we'll know if this show will hold up until the end with this quality and story writing. So far, good. |

| So far it really depends on whether a scene goes for comedy or not. As long as it does, the show's good. If it doesn't, it's boring. The boss battle really dragged. I can't bring myself to care about a fictional boss in a fictional show. |

| not good, not bad , just ok. it's been 2 eps but i can't enjoy it. only helped by the MC avatar design which some people think is funny, smh |

| Animation is good but the story is boring due to just watching some guy play the game and it's actually not even clear how that works. He has no controller and his headset doesn't seem to be tracking his body movement since he's just laying in bed, is it reading his brainwaves? The only potential story is this girl trying to meet with him for whatever reason, not sure if she only wanted someone to play with or she was trying to confess to him despite him not even having a second in a day to even talk to her so there isnt a reason for her to show much interest in someone like that. If there was actual proper comedy in it that would help too. Needs more time I guess. |

| Animation is great again as the fights were well animated but ngl it got a little tedious with watching Sanraku fight some mobs and mine. Hopefully he will meet the characters that are on the poster such as the purple haired girl, a blonde, and the one in the armor which I believe is the girl that likes him in real life. |

| The most unrealistic part of this show is that every other player looks like a normal person with regular gear, while in most games you would see way more people with silly bird masks and naked builds. |
| Soloing the beginner, seemed to prove a bit of a challenge but Sunraku managed! Its funny seeing that shy girl Rei who seemingly has a crush on Rakuro is actually a veteran of the game, the insta-kill of that boss just shows how OP she is in this world. We got to see some of that classic mining you get in mmo's, just out in the middle of nowhere hitting rocks for ages. Going out at nighttime has got Sunraku in quite the difficult situation with those enhanced mobs, and the UR boss! |

| @borderliner He didn't kill those monsters with some skills he has a good understanding of games in general and uses it to his advantage. Like he made a weakpoint on the serpent when it didn't have one to beat it. It's not a skill that popped up out of nowhere. For the ore part they offscreened how he collected the mats, it's nothing important and things like this happen often in animes I don't see how's that a problem? You want to watch him grind materials for hours? |

| Banger episode, a bit like the first, it starts out strong and episode 2 was still very entertaining to watch, the budget is off the charts when compared to your typical adaptation, which is what first got me interested in this to be fair. Not expecting anything too deep or special about the plot, just more entertaining episodes with sick fights! |
